'Badger Moon.' ©2013 Lisa McShane. Oil on Linen Panel. 15"x15"
There are many, many nocturnes in my upcoming show at the Lucia Douglas Gallery. This is a profile of a hill visible from Bookwalter Winery in eastern Washington. For the past year I've been focused on nailing the color - and lack of color - that we take for granted in the evening sky.

Hi Lisa evening time paintings are not easy to do. I recently finished one but sadly the glow was a little orange looking. I really like your painting very much it creates create peace and is well painted.
